My friends and I are doing a speedrun competition on a set seed, but fresh characters each run. Eik spawned literally right next to the stones (even closer than this video) and in LOS from the spawn camera lol. Seed is durinsolym. My current run is 12:54.

People should add all the stuff up for us so we know exactly how much stuff we need. That would be helpful

Damn I was so close to rage commenting that Elden ring exists and then you said it. Valheim ER and lies of P have to be my top games of the last five years. I haven’t finished cyberpunk or Jedi survivor but they’re both good games too. Not indie or mods. I hear your points for the most part but maybe a bit dismissive of some really high quality games coming out of bigger studios.

your content is really good, but your editing leaves a lot to be desired. I'd try messing around with hiring a freelancer editor on fivver or something just to make it a bit more digestible while still being able to crank out these long play sessions.

So called "AAA" companies have forgotten that they are making games, their games seem to be targeting at people who love movies or tv shows that don't really paly much games. But there's one point I disagree with you, what's Nintendo to do with this? I feel that they are one of the few big companies out there that understand that they are making games and keep delivering fun experience.

Yeah, same here! For me there is an added no-go: for years now, i completely avoided windows and mac plattforms, and those pesky AAA companies are infamous for hindering users actually playing their games. What was their job exactly? :) Ah, and if you don't know it already, you might get lots of joy out of starsector. Its 15 quid and not even on steam, they sell it themselves. It scratched itches i had from playing the original sid meiers pirates back in the amiga days.

Man, Journey blew my mind when I first played it. I was mostly into playing COD or Skyrim when Journey came out as a free game with Playstation Plus. I had no idea it was somewhat of a co-op game, so I was befuddled when what I thought was an NPC was acting very erratic around me. I ignored it and kept going about my way, getting lost. : ) But man, that ending had me in tears, it was so beautiful. I still listen to that ending music if I want to have myself a good cry.

I agree 100%. I feel like a lot of games nowadays are just a $70 USD uninspired remake of a previous game in a different setting. The majority of games I play are indie and not only for the price generally being cheaper than AAA games but usually indie games have character. AAA suffers from investors pushing for the same thing every time while indie developers have the freedom to take risks and create something new. I'm sure the workers at these big companies wish they could add some personality but the obsession with "realistic" graphics and crunch time from the higher-ups leave them no time to innovate. The future of the gaming industry relies in the consumer to tell these investors what we really want from them. If people stop buying the new assassin's creed or call-of-duty every year maybe they'll get the point eventually.

24:56 After the explanation you had to make regarding black metal in order for the challenge to be possible : You could have done it in another way that would not have to mess in any way with the base game design for infested mine chests..! Normally Mistland is done after Plain and beating Yagluth. And what happens once Yagluth is beaten ? Goblins starts to spawn in all the other biomes (Black Forest, meadows & mountains) at night ! So another clever solution would have been to trigger these spawns in Mistland to mimic this gameplay element from base game. :)

I think ashlands is fun, i love the combat and the danger always but when u die there, unless u have a friend still alive who can protect and hold the body for u its almost impossible to get the stuff back, spent about an hour yesterday, gave up and spent another hour this morning to finally get my stuff back
